MY BROTHER, MY RIVAL

MY BROTHER, MY RIVAL - Eve Rabi That was a roller coaster of a book, I went through so many emotions. At the start of the book, I wasn't sure I was going to like it, the writing style seemed strange (I haven't read any of this authors work before) and the male characters seemed so full of them selves, and I suppose if I'm honest he stayed that way but he (Cody) definitely grew on me, not enough to be a book boyfriend, but he had appeal. I got used to the writing style and enjoyed hearing from both Cody and Bridie's point of view.

Bridie, she is a a strong woman had a tough time of it and fights for everything, when Cody starts fighting for her attention she can't resist him, but she doesn't give in easily.

Enter another man she briefly had a moment with and things take on another interesting edge.

Cody's family (most of) are arrogant, self righteous, and look down on Bridie which causes many problems, let alone the mother trying match making - bitch!!

If your looking for a roller coaster of a book, with strong characters and story, that if you don't read in one sitting will play in your head, pick up this book now. I'm off to start book 2 now.

Awarding this book 3.75 stars for writing style but 4 stars for story.

Ps if you struggling with the beginning of this book, stick with it I think you'll find it worth your while, even more so book two which I give 5+ Stars.
