Beautiful Danger
I've read one of Michele hauf books before and loved it 'her vampire husband'. This book did not disappoint I adored it, now your thinking what did I adore???
I loved the storyline, it kept you embraced in the book, it wasn't overly rushed and didn't drag at all.
The characthers were great Lark, she works for the order and is a skilled vampire hunter - she kills vampires to avenge them holding her husband captive and turning him, she's strong and focused until she meets Domingo's!
Domingo's has been targeted by the order for death, his been killing werewolves, he has a good reason though they kept him captive and made him fight other vampires, tortured him with sun light and sent him slightly crazy. He is such a well rounded characther, his no alpha male but there is something about him that makes him so appealing......
It takes a while for them to get together, but when they do its hot, he knows how to please a woman!!! It's against 'the orders'rules to fraternise with the enemy, but sometimes these things are destined to happen.
It's not all love and sex, there is action, angst, and shout out no.... moments! but we get the ending we want. That's a lie I didn't want this book to end, I really fell for Domingo even with his mad moments, it made him more realistic to me not your perfect alpha vamp.
As I didn't want this book to end and kept my hubby upto date on what was happening all through, even though I think he could tell from my facial expressions, I'm giving this book a strong five stars.
If you haven't read any of your Michele hauf books I really suggest you do, she is a great writer and draws you in to the story, her characthers are realistic (considering there vamps etc) and you feel for them.
