Whispers on the Wind

Whispers on the Wind - Judy Griffith Gill This book was first published in 2001, but reading it now its still a great read .

This book is set in the future as the world has changed, but In another way it almost seems to be back in time in its relaxed manner, it's only the odd statement here and there that make you realise it's a different time.

Lenore a 37 year old lady (i love a more mature leading lady) has been signed off work for a couple of months for exhaustion/breakdown, she has gone to a cabin in the woods to recuperate, but is plagued by dreams, dreams of a girl lost, later her dreams change for the better. In her dreams she now has a handsome tanned man making love to her, bringing her immense pleasure then before the finale!! Her dream ends with him asking her to come to him, come to him, How frustating..... As these dreams carry on she is compelled to go find him one night, as she has seen where he is and well she can't sleep so why not prove to herself she's going mad.

Jonalla, the tanned, gorgeous man alien (that prefers to be naked) in search of his sister Zenna, of course lenore is shocked when she finds this sexy man, once she just about accepts hs real, he reveals how he used her mind and she is disgusted with him, but agrees to help him recover, and help find his sister so he can go home .....he promises to build trust between them.

We get glimpses of Jonallo's world which really comes to life, I'd like to go visit if I could! (But I know it's not real!)

The book starts off sexy, then goes to building relationships to adventure, surprises, more sexiness, peril, sadness and aaaaaarrrrggghhh, general book structure you could say.

I really enjoyed this story the main characthers really became vivid to me, the were others in the book, but they didn't come to life as much as our main characthers to me, I did hurt for zenna's bonded mate, his pain showed.

The ending was as I hoped but more :)
