Well that was a ride and a half, totally captivating could have read in one sitting if kindle didn't need charging, this book has been on my amazon wishlist for a while, so when julienne lynch offered me a copy to review how could I refuse.This is Giselle's story, Marc the boyfriend has cheated on her, she's gutted, as she would be - but Alex her best bud is there to help her out.
Alex her best friend is not who he seems, I'm so gutted I wanted him to be something else, that's just me like to think the best of even fictional characters. He takes her to his world, and uses his powers of persuasion on her to get what he wants, before she knows it its to late.......
I love the characters name Giselle, she has a journey and half in this book, gets betrayed/hurt/hunted a lot! She has a mouth on her and likes to give her opinion, she is only young so I can forgive her feelings switching about and let's face it, supernatural powers help!
I really like Antonne his a vamp and his fab, he has a great personality and look forward to more of him in book two.
There are many supernatural elements in this book all based around vampires, and all want Giselle. I like Giselles spirit she was so much stronger by the end of the book. But what comes next. I'm still hoping we have Alex all wrong, yes I'm sad I know.
Even though Giselle is 18ish and I thought this of a ya/na book, I don't know if I would class it as that as its quite dark and twisted in place. The sex scenes aren't overly detailed its hard place so I'd just say a paranormal romp with some romance.
I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading book two very soon.
