A Prequel
I love paranormal, I love vamps and shifters.....This book I struggled with, it was set over a long period of time. I got a little confused in places. Maybe I should have read the other books first?
I really disliked the way the Mystic men treated the women - not nice, even though it's how they're meant to be in their Species.
Kain and James I liked very much, they were strong how they stood up to their parents, when they told them what they were doing was wrong. Both of them are strong characthers and I enjoyed there sexual development.
I finished the book, but probably won't continue with series.
I'm sure plenty of others will enjoy this book more than me.
